Root Canal Therapy

A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed and is infected. During a root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. Without treatment, the bone and gums surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscesses may form. Root canal treatment is usually completed over a period of three appointments.

  • The main purpose of flossing is to reduce plaque and food debris build-up in between the teeth. This is very important to keep your teeth and gums healthy and prevent cavities and some gum problems e.g. gingivitis
